Q: Free classified advertising! How do you do it

    A: The Interior Buy & Sell Ltd. production costs are covered by paper sales and online subscriptions, as well as by paid commercial advertising.

 

Q: How do you define a personal item?

    A: Personal items include everything from the kitchen sink to your overgrown houseplants!  Basically, anything your average household would have.  Free classified ads run for 2 weeks.  

 

Q: How can I submit, change or delete ads?

    A: You can submit, change, or delete your ads through our website (modify ad) Our free classified ad hotline is also available 24 hrs a day. 

 

Q: How do I place a photo ad?

    A: When you submit any ad, you have the option to add a picture (for a minimal charge) simply place your ad.

 

Q: What are your deadlines?

    A: Our deadline for free classified ads is Tuesday at 12:00pm (Noon) to appear in Thursday's paper. Our deadline for commercial ads is Monday at 12:00pm (Noon).

 

Q:  How do you define a commercial/business ad?

A: Any item related to a business or commercial venture is considered a paid ad. If you are advertising your  service or business item, the ad must be prepaid before publication. Contact the office for more information.

 

Q: Where can I buy a newsstand copy of the paper?

    A: The Interior Buy & Sell is distributed to over 50 cities in the Interior, Okanagan, Shuswap, & Cariboo! Click on see our (outlets) to find a location nearest to you.

 

Q: Is it free to view ads online?

    A: We charge a subscription rate for viewing our ads.

 

Q: Are you affiliated with other Buy & Sell companies?

    A: No. The Interior Buy & Sell Ltd. is a privately owned company. We do not share our database of free classified ads, nor do we get or use ads from other publications. See our policies click here.

 

Q: How are you different from the other online classifieds?

     A: Unlike Craigslist and Kijiji, Interior Buy and Sell is Interior BC owned and operated and has been since 1979 .  What this means is any of your hard earned dollars invested with us will stay in your local economy –your money doesn’t end up in California or Toronto.
